Vince Von Skully

As an aspireing wet plate photographer I feel that I haven't been posting a lot of my passion. Life and school gets in the way. I think its about time I post what is very near and dear to me.

In February I did my first glass plate negative! Also if you look at the top of the screen you can see my attempt to have a smoking effect by twirling tissue paper on a piece of thin wire. There is always next time!

Also in that month, I learned how to cut my own glass for making negatives and clear glass ambrotypes. I feel that its important to be able to make your own things in life. To contribute to your skill, in my case its cutting glass and being able to mix chemicals (very soon). I'm hoping to use this negative in the future for Salt and Platinum prints!
